CDP A List for 2021
Each year, CDP collects, analyzes and evaluates information on the environmental activities of major companies around the world and selects the most outstanding companies in terms of climate change-related initiatives and information disclosure for its Climate Change A List. Ajinomoto Co., Inc. was selected for the A List for two consecutive years.
2022 EcoVadis (Silver Rank)
EcoVadis evaluates companies in 160 industries across 200 countries, based on "environment," "labor practices and human rights," "fair business practices" and "sustainable procurement." Ajinomoto Co., Inc. received a SILVER rank in recognition of its achievements in sustainability efforts.
The Third ESG Finance Awards Japan "Environmental Sustainable Enterprise" Category Gold Award
The ESG Finance Awards Japan is presented to institutional investors, financial institutions, intermediaries, enterprises, and others that are proactively engaged in and have a positive impact through ESG finance, or environmental and societal projects. For FY2021, Ajinomoto Co., Inc. received the Gold Award in the Environmental Sustainable Enterprise category.

In March 2022, corporate governance report of Ajinomoto Co., Inc. was selected as one of 44 companies with "Excellent Corporate Governance Reports" by asset managers entrusted with Japanese equity investment of Government Pension Investment Fund of Japan (GPIF).
2022 Nadeshiko Brand
The Nadeshiko Brand is an initiative aiming to introduce certain Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed companies that are outstanding in terms of encouraging the empowerment of women in workplace as attractive stocks for investors who emphasize improving corporate value in the mid and long term, thereby further accelerating companies’ efforts. Ajinomoto Co., Inc. was selected for the Nadeshiko Brand.
PRIDE Index 2021 (Gold)
Ajinomoto Co., Inc. received “Gold” recognition, the highest ranking in the PRIDE Index which evaluates initiatives in the workplace related to LGBTQ and other sexual minorities.
2022 Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization Recognition ("White 500" of Large Enterprise Category)
The Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization Recognition Program honors organizations with exceptional Health and Productivity Management(*) practices based on their contributions to addressing community health-related challenges and implementing the health awareness efforts of Nippon Kenko Kaigi. Ajinomoto Co., Inc. was chosen for the White 500 of the large enterprise category.

AJINOMOTO DO BRASIL INDÚSTRIA E COMÉRCIO DE ALIMENTOS LTDA. won the first place in the Investment in Human Capital (ICH) ranking, in the 2nd edition of the Brazilian Excellence in People Management Award. With 250 companies participating, four pillars were considered in the assessment: employee psychological health, corporate citizenship, human and organizational development and people management practices.

"Let's Extend Healthy Life Expectancy! Award" is an event sponsored by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and the Japan Sports Agency, which commends particularly excellent efforts in the fields of lifestyle-related disease prevention, care prevention and elderly life support, and maternal and child health. In 2021, Ajinomoto Co., Inc.'s vegetable intake improvement activity "Love Vege®" project won the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare's highest award in the lifestyle-related disease prevention category.
